We decided to have the party on Saturday 26th May 2007 at Belair National Park!
The day started well, around 11am when Robyn, Scott, some friends and our parents (and Lou) arrived to start setting up. Scott got straight onto the helium bottle instead of using it to blow up the balloons but soon stopped when he got light headed! Just before 12:00, the first of our friends started to arrive. We were so blessed to have a perfect sunny late Autumn day for the party, especially since it had been raining all week! Fortunately, the sun was out and the wind was calm. It made for a perfect day!
As the BBQ got fired up, we realised we over-catered the meat by a big amount! Oh well! Thanks to the cooks who helped out. About 1pm, the food was served and was well received by all!
After lunch, Robyn and Scott gave a quick speach and also invited Scott's Dad (Ralph) and Robyn's Mum (Val) up as well. A quick toast with Champaign was great. Then, the afternoon flew by! People playing tennis, chatting, kids climbing trees, kicking the footy and generally having a great time!
All too soon, it was time to start packing up. The day went so fast but was a
day both Robyn and Scott will never forget!
