Robyn is a year 2 teacher at a private school in South Australia.
Scott is an IT Analyst/Administrator and works in the Adelaide CBD.
Well.. funny story actually. We met through our mutual (crazy) friend, Seona. Scott had known Seona for about 5 years and met her Scuba diving. He actually was on his last internship dive before coming a DiveMaster! They both kept in contact over the years and one day in February 2006, caught up at Oscars for tea. Afterwards, they went back to Seona's place at Maslin Beach where they watched Saw... Now if you know Scott, horror is not his favorite movie genre! Anyways, Robyn was Seona's housemate!
Robyn came home about 1/2 way through the Movie (and had just been to the Gym!)... and proceeded to eat 1/2 tub of yohgurt! During spoonfulls, Robyn and Scott chatted and tried to work out the movie! From memory, this was the 22nd February 2006. A few days later, Scott sent Seona an email asking if she thought Robyn would be interested in going on a date. About an hour or so later, Seona rang and was very excited! She then ran into Robyn's classroom and told her the good news!! Later that night, Scott rang Seona's mobile and was surprised that Robyn answered (we both thank Seona for that oh sh*t moment!)! They were out with the 'Tat Girls' so it was a quick chat before a more relaxed one later that night.
A week later, our first date was down at Lido - Holdfast Shores on Sunday 5th March 2006. We started off with a drink at the Pier Hotel, then dinner, then a walk along Glenelg Beach and up to Mosley Square where we had a Chai Latte at Cibo's.
